Always proud of the latest gear the SAS had extorted from the MoD, Finn showed off by driving fast down a country road at night with no lights using only night vision goggles.

"$5000 each these," he said. "Clear as daylight!"

"That was scary!" Abby said when they got out.

"Yeah, and they hadn't switched the cats-eyes on!" Connor complained.

Finn and Abby exchanged a glance.

"What do you mean?"

"The cats-eyes down the middle of the road," Connor explained. "They weren't switched on, like when the street lights aren't on sometimes."

"Does he dye his hair dark?" Finn asked.
